About Me

Rafael Cardenas, was born in 1971 in Pihuamo, Jalisco: a small town in the central part of Mexico on the western coast. His parents migrated to the US in 1974. He grew up in, and still lives in, East Los Angeles. His writing comes from his fascination with words and the creative process. You can also find his writing in the Citizen LA.
